They simply scan the patient’s wristband to ID the patient, and then scan the medication, blood product, or breastmilk. This scanning feature increases patient safety, and eliminates the need for tethered scanners, allowing for more personal interactions between clinicians and patients.

Easy documentation. iPhone and iPad work with electronic health records (EHR) apps to give providers easy access to patient records on the go. Nurses can document a patient’s vitals as they are taking them with voice dictation on iPhone. And paramedics can update a patient’s status onsite with iPad.
